Initial Consultation

30-60 minutes: FREE of charge

A "meet and greet" visit so that I can get acquainted with you
and your pets, discuss services, answer any questions, fill
out paperwork, obtain detailed instructions and information
regarding the care of your pets, and pick up (2) house keys.
The necessary forms can be mailed or emailed to you in
advance to fill out prior to the scheduled consultation.

Pet Sitting (Dogs & Cats) & Dog Walking

$17 - 1x per day/30 minute visit/walk
$32 - 2x per day/30 minute visits/walks
$45 - 3x per day/30 minute visits/walks
$60 - 4x per day/30 minute visits/walks
$25 - 1 hour visit/walk
Rates include up to 2 pets
$2 for each additional pet per visit
$5 for an additional 10 minutes per visit, if requested
Non-aggressive, leash trained dogs only

Pet Taxi
For customers needing transportation for their pet(s) to the
vet or groomer. Please inform the vet or groomer about this
arrangement ahead of time. (limited travel distance)

$15 one way
$25 round trip
$15 per 1/2 hr, if waiting with your pet is requested

Service Request Form:

A signed and completed service request form is due
for each service, before the start of service.

Rabies Vaccination:

All pets must have an up-to-date rabies vaccination
Please provide rabies certificate at initial consultation

Reservations:

If possible, please make reservations at least a week
in advance, and preferably at least 2 to 3 weeks prior
to any major holiday
If you are a new customer, please give as much
advance notice as possible, in order to provide
enough time to schedule an initial consultation

Vacation/Extended Pet Sitting:

For the safety, health and well-being of your canine
companions, they need a minimum of 2 visits per day
while you are away for more than one day at a time

Same Day Service:

$10 fee will apply for same day service requests
Due to possible scheduling conflicts, requests for
same day service are not guaranteed
Same day service requests are more readily available
if we already have your house key(s) on file

Holiday Visits:

$5 extra per visit on the following holidays:

New Year's Eve & New Year's Day, Easter Sunday,
Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Payments for reservations that include any of the
above listed holidays are non-refundable

Service Hours:

Scheduled service hours are from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm
Specific time requests cannot always be guaranteed
$5-$10 extra per visit, if requested time is outside of
regular hours; fee amount depends on the requested
time of night or morning; availability not guaranteed

Special Requests & Additional Services:

Please contact us regarding any special service
requests, and we will see what we can possibly do to
accommodate your needs
If any additional services are requested, additional
service fees will apply

Payment for Services:

Cash, checks and money orders are accepted
Payment in full is due before the start of service
For first time customers, the full payment amount is
due at the time of the initial consultation
Daily (M-F) customers may leave their payment in a
specified location at the beginning of each week

Key Pick Up/Return Fee:

2 working copies of your house keys are requested
Both sets of keys will be coded for confidentiality
$10 per key pick up or drop off (except initial consult)
or FREE secure key retention for future pet care

Key Cutting Fee:

$5 fee for key cutting
If you do not have a spare key to provide but want your
keys to be kept on file for future pet care services

Late Fee:

$5 per visit late fee will be assessed for payments not
received by the start of service

Return Check Fee:

$25 per return check, plus any bank fees

Cancellation Policy:

8+ days No charge (full refund)
2-7 days 20% of total due (80% refund)
0-48 hrs Payment in full is charged (no refunds)
Holidays Payment in full is charged (no refunds)

Daily (M-F) customers just need to give a 24-hour notice for
cancellation of a particular day(s), and a credit will be applied
to service for the following week. If cancellations become
habitual, the "daily" package will be discontinued and regular
visit rates will apply for the days that you do request service.

Access to Your Home and Pets:

If anyone else has access to your home while we are
contracted to perform services, we can assume no
liability for any damages/losses to your home/pets.

Pets with Unsupervised Outdoor Access:

If your pets have unsupervised access to the outdoors,
we will not be responsible for their safety and will not
be liable for injury, disappearance, death or fines

Personal Information:

All customer information is kept confidential and
accessed by A Dog's Life Pet Care only. We do not
disclose any customer information to third parties.
